The Department of Economics and Finance offers MS and PhD degrees in economics and a MS degree in Finance. Our doctoral program is internationally recognized in the field of environmental and natural resource economics, but we also offer fields in industrial organization, international trade/development and financial economics. Our program is small by design with the opportunity to work closely with highly respected faculty. The University of Wyoming is set in the quiet town of Laramie with a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities such as hiking, skiing, fishing and rock climbing right at our backdoor.
