Executive MBA Program (Online)

The University of Wyoming offers a part-time Executive MBA degree consisting of 30 semester hours of graduate coursework. The Executive MBA Program is offered completely online beginning each fall semester. The Executive MBA Program is designed to improve students’ capabilities for careers as professional managers and business leaders.

Generally, students with undergraduate business degrees and those who hold undergraduate degrees outside of business and have completed prescribed prerequisite business coursework will be able to complete the Executive MBA Program in six consecutive semesters. Students are encouraged to complete prerequisite courses, if necessary, through Online UW. Prerequisites may be waived based on compelling evidence that suggests the applicant has mastery of the coursework.

The program is designed for experienced business professionals interested in increasing their understanding of business principles or looking to advance in their profession; instruction is based on the premise that students have experience managing people and/or processes in a professional setting. Entrepreneurs, managers, private business owners, and other professionals will also benefit from the coursework in this program.

Fall semester application deadline is March 1.

Executive MBA students attended a post-game gathering at Dr. Mark Peterson's home following the UW victory over TCU on October 6, 2007. The game was part of the EMBA Fall Rally, featuring a presentation by Dr. Richard McGinity, box lunches, and networking opportunities.
