Online Business Administration Bachelor Degree

About the Program

The University of Wyoming College of Business and Outreach Credit Programs, a division of the UW Outreach School, offer students an accredited business administration degree program through Online UW.

After completing UW approved general education courses and business administration prerequisites at a community college: (http://www.caspercollege.edu/students/academicinfo/degrees/distance/courses.html)  or other university, students are eligible to apply for admission into the online undergraduate business administration degree program.  All students transferring to the College of Business will be required to apply to the University of Wyoming, have a 2.50 cumulative grade point average, and Advanced Business Standing (ABS) before being considered for admission into the business administration online program. The application for the business administration degree program must be completed on or before March 15 for fall enrollment, October 15 for spring enrollment, and March 1 for summer enrollment. Apply OnlineStudents must attain a 2.50 GPA for graduation for both College of Business and UW courses, and must take the ETS exam to graduate.

Transcripts will be evaluated during the following dates:

Spring Semester-- February 15 - March 1
Summer Semester-- July 15 - August 1
Fall Semester-- October 1 - October 15

(Students must first apply and be accepted to the university and all transcripts must be viewable in WyoWeb before their evaluation can be completed.) 

A major in business administration provides you with a good foundation in all business disciplines and prepares you for a wide variety of careers. As a business administration major, you will take the required business core curriculum and additional coursework in accounting, finance, management, and marketing, as well as coursework in the legal aspects of business and computer applications. Many employers want college graduates who possess a general knowledge of all business functions. Business administration graduates are well suited for these organizations.

Core Classes for Business Administration Major

All College of Business majors are required to meet general education requirements through the University Studies requirements as well as preparatory classes in economics, English, communication, mathematics, statistics, and computer science that are required for Advanced Business Standing.

Business administration majors take a mix of required and elective courses.
