Accounting

Accounting isn't just about dollars and cents or debits and credits anymore. Accounting includes the whole range of business information management. A minor in Accounting will give you the tools you need to understand basic accounting information - a set of skills that will be useful to you no matter what career you choose.

Decision Science

A minor in Decision Science will give you a strong foundation in quantitative methods, computer information systems, and operations management-all valuable tools in understanding the business operations.  From manufacturing to Total Quality Management, you'll learn about the more quantitative side of business management.

Entrepreneurship

Our Entrepreneurship minor exposes you to business courses that will prepare you to solve the problems facing a small business entrepreneur. An exciting feature of this minor includes the chance to consult with small businesses in the region. With a minor in Entrepreneurship, you'll gain an understanding of the special strategic issues of managing a small firm.

Our minor in Finance will give you a background in the financial management of organizations as well as a broad understanding of the management of risk. The Finance minor can also provide you with the latitude to pursue specialized financial topics that suit your personal interests.

Graphic Design
majors are required to take nine hours from either emphasis one or two including either Consumer Behavior or marketing Research for emphasis two and at least one upper division class for emphasis one.

Other majors
need to consult with either a Marketing or Communication and Journalism professor about prerequisites before declaring the minor.

A minimum grade of "C" is required for each minor course, and all students must have at least a cumulative minor GPA must be a 2.50 at graduation.

Due to accreditation concerns, students majoring outside the College of Business can take a maximum of 30 hours from the College of Business.
