The minimum nine hours to be completed must be met within one emphasis.

Graphic Design majors are required to take nine hours from either emphasis one or two including either Consumer Behavior or marketing Research for emphasis two and at least one upper division class for emphasis one.
Other majors need to consult with either a Marketing or Communication and Journalism professor about prerequisites before declaring the minor.
A minimum grade of "C" is required for each minor course, and all students must have at least a cumulative minor GPA must be a 2.50 at graduation.
Due to accreditation concerns, students majoring outside the College of Business can take a maximum of 30 hours from the College of Business.
