Student Accounting Organizations

In addition to the broad selection of student groups sponsored by the College of Business, the Department of Accounting is home to two very special groups: Beta Alpha Psi and a student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. These two organizations are a great benefit to students both professionally and socially.

Beta Alpha Ps is an outstanding student honorary group. Membership is by invitation only and is based on academic achievement. Our chapter of this national student honorary frequently earns national "Superior Chapter" honors, and it is recognized as one of the finest student groups on campus.

Our student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants is open to all students with an interest in management accounting. The group has fared very well in recent regional competitions.
