Building the Future of Business Education

UW's business school has dedicated its energy and resources to building business education in Wyoming. Now, an exciting development is on the horizon to support our mission of teaching, research, and service to the state. Beginning in March 2005, an internal team comprised of representatives from UW's Facilities Planning Office and College of Business faculty, staff, students, and Advisory Council members began assessing the future needs of our college. In January 2006, these endeavors resulted in the UW Trustees granting approval to contract with architects to develop a schematic design for a future facility. In March 2007, the Wyoming Legislature appropriated funding to finalize design and construction documents for the renovation and expansion of the College of Business.  The current timeline is to hire a construction manager at-risk and finalize construction documents by August 2007 in anticipation of the 2008 budget session of the Wyoming Legislature.
