How long is the Executive MBA Program? - Top

Do I have to come to campus to complete the Executive MBA Program? - Top

No, the Executive MBA Program is completely offered online. The University of Wyoming utilizes eCollege (http://www.ecollege.com/index.learn) as its online course format.

 

 

What are the costs of the Executive MBA Program? - Top

The cost of this program is $550 per credit hour plus $40 per credit hour to cover the cost of technology fees. The University of Wyoming will also assess student fees as determined by the Board of Trustees for each academic year. Additional costs include textbook purchases.

 

 

Is financial aid available for Executive MBA students? - Top

Yes, financial aid is available for EMBA students. See the Student Financial Aid Web site for more information (http://uwadmnweb.uwyo.edu/SFA/).

Additionally, a limited number of scholarships are available for Wyoming residents enrolled in the EMBA program. The scholarship reduces the tuition rate from $550/credit hour to the prevaling in-state, online tuition rate. Contact the MBA program office for more information (mba@uwyo.edu).

 

 

What must I do to graduate on time? - Top

The student must complete their program of study according to the lock-step process outlined at http://business.uwyo.edu/execmba/info.asp?p=1705. Any other program-specific graduation requirements must also be met to receive the degree. In the final semester of coursework, the student will complete the graduation filing process as outlined at http://uwadmnweb.uwyo.edu/uwgrad/default.asp.

 

 

Can I transfer credits from another program or university? - Top

Students enrolled in the Executive MBA Program may not apply credits from the UW on-campus MBA program (courses with an MBAM prefix) to their degree, and vice versa.

A maximum of nine semester hours of graduate course work taken at another institution and not applied toward any other degree may be applied to the Executive MBA Program subject to regulations regarding transfer of credit and with the approval of the program director.
