Executive MBA Program (Online) Prerequisite Courses


  • MGT 3210:    

    Management and Organization.

  • MKT 3210:    

    Introduction to Marketing.

  • FIN 3250:     

    Managerial Finance.

  • ECON 4030:  

    Managerial Economics.

  • DSCI 3210:   

    Production and Operations Management.

  • MGT 1040:  

    Legal Environment of Business.

  • ACCT 1010 and ACCT 1020:   

    Principles of Accounting I and II.

  • BADM 5100:  

    Foundations in Quantitative Analysis.

Six of the nine prerequisite courses are offered online through the University of Wyoming Outreach School. These include: MGT 3210, MKT 3210, FIN 3250, ECON 4030, DSCI 3210, and BADM 5100. For information on what semester these courses are offered, contact the MBA Programs Office.

 

Students who need to complete Principles of Accounting I (ACCT 1010), Principles of Accounting II (ACCT 1020), and/or Legal Environment of Business (MGT 1040) have the following options:

 Prerequisites may also be waived upon completion of the Certified Associate Business Manager(CABM) exam with a passing score (75%) on the appropriate knowledge module.  View the CABM information packet and application or go to the Association of Professionals in Business Management website for exam details and registration.
